Luca Badoer completed two days of testing with the Ferrari F60. The Italian will substitute for Felipe Massa at this weekend's European Grand Prix and enjoyed his first taste of Ferrari's 2009 contender at Fiorano for a video and photo shoot according to Ferrari's official record.
Obviously a Ferrari video and photo shoot came in handy for the Italian who had not driven the Ferrari F60 before. For this so called photo and video shoot Luca Badoer completed 200 kilometres, a perfect preparation ahead of his comeback in Formula 1.
Speaking about his days of testing at Ferrari's home track Fiorano Badoer said: "These 200 kilometres were absolutely insignificant from a technical point of view, but they allowed me to get to know the car again.
"I have a good impression and it's obvious that there's a difficult task waiting for me at Valencia: the first race will help me to get back into the rhythm of a Formula 1 weekend. I haven't set myself any goals, just to end the race."
Badoer can count on the support of Michael Schumacher when he travels to Valencia. The seven-time world champion will join Ferrari at the European Grand Prix this weekend. "I'm glad that Michael will be with the team, I'm sure he can give me some important tips. Over the last days we've spoken very often and we even trained together when he was still trying to get ready to race. I was really sad, because I know how much he would have liked it. Although I am now able to make my dream come true, I am his friend, his admirer and his fan."
